Evidence of Mice
It is easy to tell if you have a mouse infestation. You can hear them scratching, gnawing, or moving within your walls. You may find droppings around your food prep areas, on flooring, inside or under cabinets, or inside your pantry. Missing food is another sign of a rodent. Your pets may also react to these pests, especially cats.
Finding chewed up materials such as papers, insulation, and even clothing is another sign. Mice and rodents also chew on wires causing large replacement costs or even fires.
Mice have a distinctive ammonia smell that smells like stale urine. This odor can be especially noticeable in enclosed areas, such as pantries, cabinets, or drawers. The smell may also be along baseboards and walls where mice frequently travel; the odor helps them establish and mark their territory.
Lastly, if you actually see a live or dead mouse inside your home, you most likely have an infestation.
Structural Pest Mouse Program
Your mouse treatment consists of 2 visits. On the first visit the service pro will perform a thorough inspection of your structure. He will begin your treatment on the interior finding all mouse nesting sites and runways, so please make access to all attic openings and if your door is sealed please have it unsealed.
The service pro will inspect the exterior of your structure, targeting all entry points. At this time, the service pro will fill out an exclusion report documenting these areas.
We will automatically call you in 2-4 weeks to schedule your follow-up appointment. During the second visit, he will seal entry points along the foundation of your structure no higher than 4 feet and no bigger than the size of a golf ball.
After the follow-up and once all the necessary areas are sealed, your limited-warranty lasts 90 days and we ask that you wait 10 days for complete results. To help monitor activity, we ask that you clean up the mouse droppings.
The follow-up visit is included in your initial quote.
Rodent Trapping Program
Our service pro will come out and set traps in the interior and active areas within your home.
We ask that you check the traps daily and dispose of the mice. If you would like us to check the traps, it will be an additional $50.00 every day to come and remove the rodents and reset the traps.
Otherwise the pro will come out every 2-3 days to re-bait and reset the traps. The last follow–up is where the pro will seal entry points along the foundation no higher than 4 feet and no larger than the size of a golf ball.
This program will not cover cockroaches, wood-boring insects, flying insects, pharaoh ants or biting insects.
